Westland, MI (December 15, 2021) Epaline 700 series offers a wide range of products and superior properties for film, sheet and fabric-coating applications. These characteristics include excellent transparency, outstanding abrasion/puncture resistance and tensile strength, and good low-temperature flexibility.
Epaline 700 series TPUs offer superior physical and mechanical properties, excellent resistance to hydrolysis and microbial attack, and guarantee great flexibility even at low temperatures. Epaflex’s production technology permits significant batch to batch reproducibility allowing for highly accurate MFI/MVR range. Produced with a hardness range of 75 Sh A-55 Sh D, Epaline series includes products developed specifically for extrusion in polyester-based and polyether-based chemistry.
“Special Epaline grades are formulated for high Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate (MVTR), good UV resistance and the ability to achieve FDA and NSF certifications”, says Stephane Morin, owner of APS Elastomers. In addition, Epaline 700 Series offers:
- Polyether-based grades of Epaline offer good microbial resistance, enhanced resistance to weak acids/bases and excellent hydrolytic stability.
- Polyester-based grades of Epaline provide good oil/solvent resistance and high-temperature performance.
